While much of your spa experience will remain the same as always, we have made a few adjustments to ensure that both our therapists and our clients remain safe while inside our premises. You can learn more about these changes by clicking here: Gin Spa Covid Information
We have a team of both male and female therapists at The Gin Spa. If for any reason you would prefer to specify either a male or female therapist for your visit, please discuss this with our team at the time of booking, as we may not be able to make changes to our staff rotas at short notice once your booking is confirmed.
We kindly ask that all guests arrive 10 minutes before their appointment time to enjoy The Gin Spa’s unique consultation experience. If you are booked as part of a large group please bear in mind that we may not have space for all guests to have their consultations at once but our staff will do their best to accommodate you.
The Gin Spa is a relaxing, calming space. To maintain this atmosphere, we ask that all customers keep noise to a minimum and are considerate of other guests in treatments. Mobile phones may be used in the spa but we ask that they are kept on silent at all times and no calls are made during your visit.
Spa treatments may be booked online at ginspa.co.uk. To book a spa package or for advice please contact our team directly on 0141 471 0419 or email contact@ginspa.co.uk.
Bookings are not confirmed until card details have been added. Full terms for this process are available at www.ginspa.co.uk/addcard
The Gin Spa welcomes customers aged 18 or over. Complimentary drinks are served after treatments, so if you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to show proof of age, in accordance with the Scottish Licensing Act 2005.
It is essential that you notify us of any medical conditions and allergies prior to your treatment, so that we can ensure your treatment is suitable for you. Please don’t hesitate to ask our advice when making a booking. If you suffer from any serious health conditions (for example cancer or heart conditions) please check with your doctor before visiting The Gin Spa.
Pregnancy is such a special time, however, as your body changes, it can bring about many aches and pains. Massage can be a natural way to ease this and help you unwind. We have developed a range of maternity treatments as well as a comforting blend of aromatherapy oils, perfect for use during pregnancy. We would not advise visiting the Gin Spa in the first 12-13 weeks of pregnancy or past 34 weeks as this may not be suitable. Please get in touch with our team if you would like to discuss the best treatment for you.
We provide cosy slippers on arrival for all guests having a treatment as The Gin Spa. As we are an urban day spa, we do not have any pool or sauna facilities so there is no need to bring swimming costumes.
All products used in your treatments will be available to purchase in the spa. Our expert staff will make recommendations based on your skin type and needs as well as any future treatments that you could benefit from.
Aromatherapy has a strong affect on the body and therefore we suggest a good rest and to avoid having a shower or bath. Let the aromatherapy work its magic.
We advise that you have regular treatments of either massages and facials to achieve long term results. Certain tension areas won't dissipate over one session.
Enjoy a complimentary gin and tonic, gin cocktail or mocktail with 60 minute treatments (or longer) at The Gin Spa. We generally advise not to drink alcohol after your treatment as this can have dehydrating affect on your body. We have plenty of alternatives in the spa, which is to have a non-alcoholic G and T, a mocktail or to take you pre-made cocktail home with you. Ultimately the choice is yours. Alcohol will only be served to adults aged 18 or over. Complimentary drinks are not included with treatments lasting less than 60 minutes.
We are located in the centre of Glasgow, which means there are plenty of car parking facilities close by. One of which is the St Enoch centre car park located near Matalan not far from the river front.
